Smiths High Performance Italia is a specialist stockholder and supplier of advanced engineering materials to the global motorsport industry, operating from a dedicated facility in Maranello — at the heart of Italian motorsport.

A trading division of Smiths Metal Centres Ltd, Smiths High Performance was established in 2001 and has grown into one of the world's leading suppliers of high-performance alloys and engineering plastics to racing series including Formula 1, Formula E, MotoGP, NASCAR, WEC, and WRC.

The Maranello facility, operational since 2024, brings the same product range, processing capabilities, and technical expertise available from the UK headquarters directly to Italian and European customers. The stockholding is structured specifically for motorsport engineering applications, with full material traceability supported by a proprietary barcoding system.

Materials supplied include aluminium, aluminium-lithium, titanium, magnesium, nickel superalloys (including Inconel® and Nimonic® grades), maraging and high-performance steels, beryllium copper, carbon fibre plates, and PEEK engineering plastics.
