The meeting, the dialogue and the teamwork still prove invaluable for RMP which, last July 18th on the occasion of the second High Performance Coffee Club, started a new collaboration with AWA (Automotive Women Association).
The association that promotes the professional growth of women in the automotive industry has officially joined the network. In turn, RPM also entered AWA, committing itself to the development of new projects in favor of gender equality.
Automotive Women Association
Automotive Women Association (AWA) is a non-profit organization made up of professionals with long experience in the automotive industry. Through initiatives, training activities and professional growth, the association is committed every day to building a future in which women are protagonists in the innovation and development of the automotive industry.
The association's goal is to reduce the gender gap in the automotive, motorsport and related technology sectors. To advance this mission, AWA has expanded its steering committee with the addition of five new leaders from diverse industries. Among these, also Francesca Paoli and Riccardo Paterni.
Paoli and Paterni join the board
RPM affirms its role within AWA with the entry of Francesca Paoli and Riccardo Paterni into the association's board. Thanks to their experience, Paoli and Paterni will make a great contribution alongside the two founders, Monica Zanetti and Laura Tancredi, and the other professionals who are part of the Board of Directors: Francesca Cassone, Anna Mangione and Barbara Boni.
A wealth of experiences
Francesca Paoli is a prominent figure who, in recent years, has become increasingly noticed for her commitment to the issue of equal opportunities. In fact, in 2024, the CEO of Dino Paoli completed the process with which the company obtained certification for gender equality with her team. A recognition which, together with the Women Value Company award received in 2023, testifies to her commitment.
Riccardo Paterni, in turn, will be able to share a wealth of knowledge, skills and contacts in the motorsport field, invaluable for the development of the professional development projects promoted by the association. This aspect will directly involve RPM which, thanks to the network companies, will have an active role in the development of AWA initiatives.
