AWA, LSM Composites, RACEx enter RPM

The network is expanding. RPM welcomes three new entities that have joined the network in the last month: AWA (Automotive Women Association), LSM Composite and RACEx.

 

Automotive Women Association (AWA)
Automotive Women Association (AWA) (automotivewomenassociation.com) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the gender gap in the automotive and motorsports sectors. Made up of women involved in the motor industry, the association carries out initiatives, training and professional growth activities aimed at building a future in which women are protagonists of innovation and development in motorsport.
AWA was born from an initiative by Monica Zanetti and Laura Tancredi, founders and professionals with long experience. In fact, Monica Zanetti boasts a 35-year career at Ferrari and Maserati, where she held high-level roles and was a pioneering figure in the automotive industry, being the first woman to work on the construction of cars in the bodywork department. Laura Tancredi, with a past as manager of the Pagani Automobili Museum and Atelier, has contributed to the growth and success of this prestigious brand for more than a decade. With them, on the board of the association also Francesca Cassone, Anna Mangione, Barbara Boni, Francesca Paoli and Riccardo Paterni. RPM has officially become a member of the association.

 

LSM Composite
LSM Composite (www.lsmcomposite.com) is a Campania company specialized in the production of products in composite material. Born from the 40-year experience of two industrial groups that have combined their technological know-how, OMI Srl and LSM Srl, LSM Composite produces parts in carbon fibre, glass fibre, Kevlar fiber and other latest generation materials, intended for the sectors aerospace, railway, automotive and naval. Among the main customers: Leonardo S.p.A., Ferrari and Dallara, as well as other players in the world of transport.

From design to production, up to validation: the company manages all phases of production to provide turnkey projects which also include styling, concepts, engineering studies, simulations, prototyping, testing, production and final approval.

 

RACEx
RACEx (racelab.it) is an integrated simulation center (in Arese, at the La Pista - ACI Sport district) dedicated to racing car drivers. An innovative project that combines sport, enhancement psychology, sim-racing and motorsport to train and train the champions of the future. Also created thanks to the partnership with some companies in the network, including MindUp and Athletica, RACEx was born from an idea of ​​track engineer and driver Francesco Maria Leone. 

The format includes a training method that includes the use of simulators, racing cars and makes use of the support of driving coaches, athletic trainers and mental training. The objective is to offer a path that helps athletes and professionals to enhance their performances, to successfully face every challenge even in moments of greatest stress and tension.

The RACEx team is made up of professional drivers with international experience, sports driving instructors, track engineers, athletic trainers, sports psychologists who invented the “Enhancement Psychology®️” method and communication experts. High level experts who have been following several famous pilots for years and who will bring invaluable know-how to the development of new projects.
