RPM and the Italian-German Dialogue: Presence, Vision, and Future Developments

RPM participated in two strategic events organized by the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce in January, confirming its structured approach to the German industrial system. This commitment goes beyond institutional presence and translates into ongoing efforts to build relationships between RPM network companies and German businesses, not only in motorsport but also in sectors with a high level of skill transfer, such as aviation, defense, and aerospace. The goal is to foster strong and lasting connections capable of generating value along complex and increasingly integrated supply chains at the European level.

Opening 2026 and the Impact Vision

The first event took place on January 15th in Milan, at the Hotel Principe di Savoia, during the Opening 2026 of AHK Italy, the inaugural event of the new season of initiatives by the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce. This event brought together businesses in the community, designed to preview the themes, projects, and priorities of the new year, while also fostering new opportunities for networking.

The central theme of the 2026 edition was impact, understood as a guiding criterion for economic and industrial action: an approach that guides businesses toward more sustainable, inclusive, and innovative development models, capable of generating not only economic, but also social and environmental value. Representing RPM, Francesca Paoli (Dino Paoli srl) and Davide Caiti (Kaiti expansion srl) participated remotely, contributing to the discussion on how businesses can address the ongoing transformations with responsibility and vision.

The Italian-German Business Forum

The second meeting was held in Rome on Friday, February 23, as part of the Italian-German Business Forum, part of the intergovernmental summit between Italy and Germany. The event brought together institutional representatives, industrial and financial leaders from both countries, coordinated by the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce for the German industrial delegation.

The discussion reaffirmed the central role of the two countries as manufacturing pillars of the European Union and, above all, the value of the companies that make production chains a reality every day: Italian SMEs can also be an integral part of major European industrial developments, provided they are able to confidently assume their role within complex and interconnected systems. The meeting concluded with remarks by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who emphasized how strengthening the economic partnership between Italy and Germany is a strategic lever not only bilaterally, but for the entire European Union.

RPM was represented by Francesco Sedea (Aviorace), President of RPM, along with Davide Caiti (Kaiti expansion srl) and Leonardo Ragionieri (Dino Paoli srl), taking part in a high-level dialogue that confirmed the importance of integration, reliability, and a shared vision in addressing the challenges of the global context.

Next steps: building lasting connections

The events in Milan and Rome represent milestones in a mid-t-long-term journey that RPM is consistently pursuing. Strengthening our relationship with Germany involves concrete initiatives, including the work in progress planning of an event scheduled for March, open to the RPM community and other interested parties. The event is designed to foster business connections and create new opportunities for collaboration in the motorsports and relevant industrial expertise technology transfer sectors.

We are working to make RPM companies increasingly recognizable and integrated into the international contexts in which they operate, recognizing that building solid and credible relationships is a progressive process. The meetings with the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce confirm the direction we have taken: strengthening ties today to be an active part of tomorrow's European industrial supply chains.
