Welcome Th.E Engineering! Interview to Michele Citti.

Could you briefly tell us the story of Th.E Engineering? What is your core business, and in which markets do you currently operate?

TH.E S.r.l. was founded in 2015 with the aim of providing vehicle development support to players in the motorsport sector. Its design services initially focused on the engineering and CAE optimization of the components being developed.

Over the years, these capabilities have expanded significantly, building substantial expertise in composite component design, product value engineering, and rapid prototyping systems. Today, TH.E goes even further by offering customization and comprehensive client support; the company manufactures and assembles special vehicles entirely in-house, backed by a team of over 25 professionals, including design engineers and automotive craftsmen.

The underlying concept is to provide a service that allows major players to leverage specific aspects of vehicle development relevant to their needs, while enabling smaller players to create something from scratch—turning an idea into reality.

What prompted you to consider joining the RPM network?

RPM has become an increasingly established player in the motorsport network. We had already been considering joining for some time, aiming to contribute and build solid partnerships with other members. Given our growth over recent years and the increasingly integrated services we provide, the time felt right to engage proactively and focus on delivering added value.

Strategically, I believe joining RPM will be a powerful driver for the company’s further growth, allowing us to bridge any gaps by leveraging the expertise and cooperative spirit of other members. The idea is that new horizons will open up and new synergies will create value.

What goals does Th.E Engineering hope to achieve through its collaboration with RPM?

I believe the goal shouldn't be viewed solely as Th.E’s, but rather as RPM’s own objective; the network’s strength lies in its ability to pursue exciting projects that involve multiple member companies. By combining diverse and valuable expertise, we can meet the needs of anyone seeking support from the network we represent.

Naturally, Th.E’s goal is to expand collaboration to new potential clients and perhaps broaden the services provided to existing ones by addressing emerging needs. In any case, gaining visibility and connecting with various organizations will be a primary objective, fostering knowledge development and future opportunities.

What kind of contribution do you think you can offer the RPM network?

We certainly make the expertise and services we offer available to the network for collaborative purposes and to address specific needs. Our core competencies allow us to handle many aspects of vehicle development, and I believe this is an area of ​​interest for RPM. Our technical team—comprising engineers and designers (currently numbering 18)—can certainly take on and resolve various complex challenges and assist other partners with project development. Ultimately, however, I believe the real aim is to provide support in evaluating or creating new avenues for business expansion for all the entities within the network.
