MAGICMOTORSPORT: welcome to RPM! The interview

Welcome Magicmotorsport! Interview with Daniele Vento and Francesco Gaglio:

Could you briefly tell us the story of Magicmotorsport? What is your core business, and in which markets do you currently operate?

Magicmotorsport was founded on March 2, 1996, in Poland by brothers Bogdan and Zbigniew Skutkiewicz, initially as a company specializing in technical support for motorsport.

Over time, the company evolved to develop hardware and software solutions for the international automotive sector. In 2002, it relocated its operations to Italy, choosing Sicily as its base—first in Terrasini and subsequently, from 2019, in Partinico (Palermo).

Magicmotorsport has grown steadily over the years, becoming a benchmark for technological innovation in the automotive industry and investing heavily in research, development, and technical training.

In 2026, the company celebrated its 30th anniversary and adopted the name Magic Engineering, while retaining Magicmotorsport as its flagship international brand specializing in advanced technological solutions for the automotive sector.

Our core business focuses on the design and production of hardware and software tools for the electronic management of engines and automotive systems, with a particular emphasis on ECUs, TCUs, and mechatronics. We also operate in the fields of research and development, technical training, and industrial innovation related to mobility and automotive performance.

We are present in over 100 countries through a global network of distributors, technical partners, and authorized centers. Our key markets include Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North and South America, with a strong presence in both the aftermarket sector and high-performance/motorsport environments.

What prompted you to consider joining the RPM network?

We were struck by RPM’s vision: to create a network capable of connecting Italian leaders in motorsport and high-performance engineering, fostering collaboration, innovation, and international growth.

Magicmotorsport strongly believes in the value of synergies between companies, expertise, and complementary technologies. Joining RPM therefore represents an opportunity to engage with highly specialized organizations, share know-how, and contribute to the development of innovative projects within an ecosystem driven by technical and industrial excellence.

What goals does Magicmotorsport hope to achieve through its collaboration with RPM?

Through RPM, we aim to strengthen relationships with companies and professionals in the motorsport and performance engineering sectors, creating new opportunities for technological and industrial collaboration.

It is important for us to connect with organizations that share our commitment to innovation and R&D, with the goal of generating value through networking, technical exchange, and international growth.

We are also interested in the international promotion activities, industry events, and initiatives RPM undertakes to showcase Italian technological excellence in motorsport.

What kind of contribution do you think you can offer the RPM network?

We believe we can contribute to the RPM network by bringing the experience we have gained over more than 30 years of international operations in developing hardware and software technologies for automotive electronics.

Magicmotorsport consistently invests in R&D, technical training, and innovation applied to automotive electronic systems. We believe we can offer concrete expertise in areas such as ECU/TCU systems, testing, performance engineering, and technology development, sharing our know-how and experience with other members of the network.

Furthermore, thanks to our presence in over 100 countries, we can help boost the network’s international visibility and create new opportunities for global collaboration.
