RPM 2023 2nd General Assembly

On July 20th 2023 we have had the second RPM General Assembly in 2023 at our operational headquarters in Anzola D’Emilia, Casa Autopromotec site. The majority of the 28 network members were present in person, some were present in remote connection.

It has been a General Assembly filled with updates, contents and new projects for the present and the future. We have begun the assembly by introducing the four new members: Athletica, Cube Controls, Global Marketing Architecture and Italtecnica. The breadth of motorsport industry competencies within RPM continues to expand together with the network capabilities at all levels of international racing.

We have focused on relevant inner communication tools that are set to increase the level of interaction and common projects among network members along with establishing RPM joint projects towards the outside of the network. For this a specific qualitative survey has been elaborated in order to point out and utilize at best and integrate the various competencies present in RPM. A monthly newsletter for RPM members has been by now established as a way to learn more about each others and stimulate both an inner integration process and a joint outer business development.

We also focused on the upcoming trade show and conferences actives: in particular Professional Motorsport World in Cologne (8 and 9 November 2023) where twelve RPM companies will participate within the network stand which presence is going to be even more highlighted compared to the past editions. We have also dialogued at length about Futurmotive international event (Bologna, 16 to 18 November 2023) organised by Autopromotec in which RPM will have an organizational role with a relevant stand within the area MotorsportNext. The area has been set in order to affirm the strong link between motorsport and innovation (a project that we already had started in 2021 through the MotorsportNext remote conferences). MotorsportNext has been organized also with other entities (Anfia and the Motorsport University Forum) in order to highlight and affirm the relevance of the motorsport industry in Italy.

Updates about business development coordinated by the network in the USA were shared as well as other updates regarding international business development opportunities that are shaping up. At the end of the assembly we had a light lunch Italian style.
